Coverage Index

An independent archive of news coverage

About this index

Coverage Index is an independent, third-party archive of published news coverage that names Abdul El-Sayed. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Abdul El-Sayed or any campaign, and it does not speak for him. The official campaign site is abdulforsenate.com.

Operator

The site is operated by Steve Abrams. Contact: info@el-sayed.org.

Non-commercial, permanently

The site is non-commercial permanently. It carries no advertising, no merchandise, no affiliate links and no sponsorships, and the domain will never be offered for sale or listed on Afternic or any parking or resale marketplace. There is no email capture, no analytics and no third-party script.

How entries are made

Each entry is the publication’s own headline, the author exactly as the feed lists it (or “not listed”), a short excerpt from the feed’s own description shown in quotation marks, and a link to the story, either directly or through a Google News link. Nothing is paraphrased, summarised or rewritten, and no quote is created or altered. Full article text is never republished. Favourable and critical coverage are treated the same way.

The underlying record is an append-only, hash-chained log: corrections and takedowns are added as new entries, and history is never edited.

Photo policy

Photos on the front page come only from public-domain or Creative Commons sources, and each one is credited individually with its licence and a link to its source. None come from any campaign or from news wires. The site is independent and non-commercial. Photo removal and privacy requests go to the Corrections page and are actioned within 72 hours.
